1. Sundbergs Konditori

Sundbergs Konditori will transport you to a yesteryear world of regal charm. The cafe is considered to be the oldest operating cafe in Stockholm, being established in 1785.
Set in Gamla Stan you’ll be greeted by friendly staff and an interior combining grand chandeliers, dark wood panelling plus pictures of the Swedish monarchy!

You must try their hot chocolate which is delicious with a thick yet smooth texture. And of course don’t forget to accompany your beverage with a princess cake that’s both fresh and flavoursome.
You can also choose to sit outside on one the front tables and fika alfresco soaking up the sights and sounds of Gamla Stan Square.
Fika here has a fanciful feel that might bring some similarity to an afternoon tea experience. Yet it could be the thing needed to get you out of your comfort zone and enjoy that fika moment while watching the world go by.

2. Cafe Pascal

Cafe Pascal serves up a treat for couples looking for a more minimal Stockholm interior aesthetic ensuring your fika is a real treat.
We love how the exposed brickwork, plants and overall minimalist design makes Cafe Pascal one of the most visually cool fika hot spots in the city.
It exudes a Stockholm hipster atmosphere and the chance to add to your Insta / Tik Tok post collection will make everyone at home feel a little jealous.

Firstly the coffee is fabulous and is well sourced from the likes of Love Coffee and even the iconic Tim Wendelboe roastery to ensure the beans have a unique blend and freshness.
Pastries are equally good and you have the choice of indulging in a cinnamon or cardomom buns which were also super soft and fluffy.
