5 Rooftop Bars in Stockholm you Must Try

So what are the rooftop bars in Stockholm that you must try?
Stockholm has certainly developed over the years and the rise in different rooftop bars has allowed for an array of spectacular views matched with enviable food and drinks lists at your disposal.
Below is our curated list of the rooftop bars in Stockholm you must try:
1. Tak Bar & Terrace

Tak bar is one of the most popular roof tops in the capital and which is shared between both At Six hotel and Hobo Stockholm. Make your way up to the 14th floor to witness one of the most idealistic rooftop views around.
Absorb the atmosphere of both cityscape with nearby river at your absolute pleasure. The vibe is also unapologetically cool (check out the crowd) and the stunning and sleek design of the place makes you feel a sense of hipster luxury!
It’s here that Tak rooftop bar demonstrates its prowess by offering a superb Swedish and Japanese medley of both food and drink that will leave you wanting more.

For your tipple, check out the Raspberry and Elderflower cocktail combining Japanese Gin with aquavit, elderflower, raspberry, lemon, champagne. Or perhaps the Berry Twist is more to your liking with Strawberry sake alongside Vodka, cucumber citrus & pink grape.

The food menu is also intriguing with the Chirashi Sushi Bowl offering your usual sushi rice and salad experience but with the addition of trout roe providing a slightly different twist to a Japanese dish you may already well know.
An extremely popular place for both locals and tourists, Tak is one of many rooftops bars in Stockholm you must try. However, the kind of place you need to book in advance before taking your chances!

The outside terrace is absolutely stylish and looks out towards both the Kungsträdgården and Berzelii Park highlighting an iconic view of the greenery and walks on display. What’s not to like!

The Winery hence their name make their own wine, so you are safe in the knowledge that a glass of White, Red or Rose will be the perfect accompaniment to socialising and enjoying the moment!
The hotel building is housed in a brutalist architectural design where the rooftop consists of a swimming pool (open to hotel guests only) and a modern yet industrial structure above keeping design aficionados content.
Being based in the area of Solna does means that the rooftop is further away from both Gamla Stan and Sodermalm tourist hotspots, but don’t let that put you off as this is an experience worth trying.

The rooftop is located in the more residential district of Vasastan giving you a more authentic yet panoramic rooftop experience away from the tourist hubs.. No bad thing at all.
The rooftop and restaurant is sleek and sophisticated and the menu for food and drink is Korean and Japanese inspired.
Try the Yukhoe dish for the Korean steak tartare with nashi pear, egg yolk and wasabi or perhaps indulge in the Miso style salmon; either way these are great options to keep your appetite at bay.
